Description
It is presented as the first workshop to revive the production of İznik tile in İznik, using traditional methods and wood firing, after the Ottoman period. According to the business representative, it has continued its work since 1985.
At the workshop, tile production can be observed, the objects made can be purchased, and participants can make their own tile by joining a workshop session. Visitor reviews report that Faik Kırımlı and Eşref and Seyhan Eroğlu brought tile back to İznik in the 1980s. The old Byzantine water cistern known as Şeyh Bedrettin dergâhı can be seen beside the workshop.
