Göllüce Köyü ve 1500 yıllık zeytin ağacı

Göllüce is the village home to Bursa's oldest olive tree; the monumental tree on the shore strip is stated to be 1,500 years old and to yield approximately 500 kilograms of olives each year. Locals also call the tree gül ağacı.

There is a fountain from the Roman period in the village. Olives and olive oil can be tasted in the area; those visiting in November or December can join the olive harvest and observe olive oil production processes. The village is promoted as part of Bursa's Olive Route.

Visit note: Participation in the olive harvest is stated to be possible in November and December; there is no admission fee or hours information.
